Proposed requirement

• When a CA verifies an Applicant using information of the Applicant’s Parent, Subsidiary, or Affiliate under sections 10.4.1, 10.4.2, 10.5.1, or 10.6.2, the CA must verify the Applicant’s relationship to that Parent, Subsidiary, or Affiliate.
• The motion lists acceptable verification methods:
  • QIIS or QGIS identifying the relationship
  • Independent Confirmation from the Parent, Subsidiary, or Affiliate
  • Contract between the CA and the Parent, Subsidiary, or Affiliate, with the stated signer and authority checks
  • Verified Legal Opinion
  • Verified Accountant Letter
  • Properly authenticated corporate resolution for a Subsidiary, with the stated certification and authority checks
