Ballot FORUM-10: Re-Charter Forum Infrastructure Working Group

Forum Infrastructure Subcommittee charter

• Scope includes overseeing acquisition, operation, and maintenance of common CA/Browser Forum website and wiki resources.
• It coordinates updates to public and Forum-facing web and wiki content.
• It manages access and content spaces to support separation of Working Group work and IP commitments.
• It manages technical production of guidelines and other Forum documents.
• It manages Forum-level email lists and may offer mailing list management for working groups and subcommittees.
• It may perform other ancillary activities.
• The Subcommittee continues until dissolved by a vote of the CA/B Forum.
• It is responsible for ongoing wiki and mailing list services and related access and management tools.
• It may not propose Bylaws or IPR agreement changes itself; such issues may be redirected to the Forum or other groups.
• Any CAB Forum member may participate by requesting to be added to the mailing list.
• Jos Purvis is the initial Chair.
• Communications and documents are to be posted on publicly accessible mailing lists, and minutes are to be published to the Forum wiki.
• If the Forum Bylaws later add or modify general rules for Forum Subcommittees, those general rules take precedence over this charter.

Voting and result

• Voting began at 2100 UTC 30 September 2019 and ran through 2100 UTC 7 October 2019.
• The ballot page says the voting period has ended and the ballot has passed.
• Issuer voting: 15 yes, 0 no, 0 abstain.
• Consumer voting: 4 yes, 0 no, 0 abstain.
• The page states the Bylaw approval requirements were met for both Certificate Issuers and Certificate Consumers.
• Quorum was met with 10 votes required and 10 votes present.
