Firmaprofesional: Missing BR Self Assessment
This case concerns Firmaprofesional’s failure to submit a BR Self Assessment by the deadline required in Mozilla’s 2-17 CA Communication. The communication required CAs to complete a BR Self Assessment by January 31, 2018, and Firmaprofesional indicated the deadline had been extended to April 15, 2018, but Mozilla reported that no BR Self Assessment had been received. Firmaprofesional later delivered its BR Self Assessment on May 18, 2018. In response to Mozilla’s request for an explanation of why the deadline was missed and why Mozilla was not notified, Firmaprofesional stated that the requirement was new and had not been integrated into its internal procedures. After the first iteration, Firmaprofesional said it updated its estimation of resources and included execution of the self-assessment in its internal scheduling to reduce the possibility of future delays. The bug is marked RESOLVED with resolution FIXED.
