Camerfirma: EV Certificates issued with wrong Business Category

Camerfirma identified that seven EV certificates were issued with incorrect business categories, specifically labeling five as 'Non-Commercial Entity' instead of 'Private Organization' and two as 'Non-Commercial Entity' instead of 'Government Entity'. The issue was reported by a third party on November 25, 2019, leading to a thorough investigation and subsequent revocation of the misissued certificates by November 29, 2019. The CA has since implemented corrective measures, including updated guidelines and training for Registration Authority operators to prevent future occurrences.
