CERTISIGN ROOT CERTIFICATE AUTHORITY REQUEST

Certisign, a Brazilian certification authority with over 22 years of experience, submitted a request to operate as a Root CA under the Mozilla Root Program. The request has faced delays due to a backlog of CA updates and requests. Throughout the process, various challenges were identified, including issues with OCSP responses and the need for updated CP/CPS documents. Despite these complications, the case has progressed to the Detailed CP/CPS Review phase, although it has been noted that the posted CPS and the last audit on file are outdated.
