DigiCert: Underscores - Verizon

DigiCert faced an issue regarding the use of underscores in certificates issued to Verizon. This situation arose from discussions in the CA/Browser Forum, which indicated that such usage constituted mis-issuance. DigiCert took proactive measures to cease issuance and worked closely with affected customers to establish a revocation timeline. Ultimately, all impacted certificates were revoked by March 1, 2019, following extensive communication and coordination with stakeholders.
