FNMT: CP/CPS, Revocation Requests Mechanism, Certificate Problem Report, CRL and OCSP disruption
On April 28, 2025, FNMT experienced a nationwide blackout in Spain, leading to a significant disruption in services due to a failure during the transfer to a backup Data Processing Center. The incident resulted in a temporary non-compliance with CA/Browser Forum Baseline Requirements regarding service availability. Corrective actions have been implemented, including improvements to generator autonomy and the establishment of a remote management system for the backup data center. All action items have been completed, and FNMT is committed to ongoing testing and updates to their Business Continuity Plan.
