Visa's 2009 Audit and CP for the Visa eCommerce Root
This case is a record of Visa’s recent audit and certificate policy (CP) for the “Visa eCommerce Root” root certificate, which is included in NSS. Kathleen Wilson created the bug and attached Visa’s public-facing 2009 audit letter and CP documents for that root. She explained that the purpose was to ensure there is recent audit and CP/CPS documentation for each NSS root, and that Visa planned to post the documents on its website after a site redesign. A StartCom representative asked why the bug existed and why a CA representative was not involved. Kathleen clarified that the CA sent the documents to be posted as an interim measure until the website update. The bug is marked as resolved with resolution WORKSFORME.
